LEGACIES
About the Legacy Club
The National Horse Trust 'Legacy Club' has only recently been established. This wonderful Club meets on a regular basis over lunch, and invites many different guest speakers to entertain. We highly recommend that you contact us for details on how to join this club so that one day you can make a difference to our horses in need.
Why leave money to the National Horse Trust?
More and more cruelty to horses are being exposed and the best way you can fight it is to support the National Horse Trust and the Horse Care Units. If you leave us money in your will, you guarantee that horses will go on being protected and saved for years to come. You’ll also help us to change attitudes – by teaching children the right way to treat animals and by educating the public about equine welfare and cruelty. And you’ll help us go on campaigning for changes in laws that control the way in which horses are treated.
How will my money be used?
One of our priorities is the establishment of Units where needed as well as to recruit and train more inspectors country wide to cope with the increasing number of homeless, abandoned, sick and abused horses arriving every day. Your money will help us do these things, so we can care for horses in dire need in the future. Your gift will also help pay for education programmes and campaigns – so you’ll be helping us work for a better world of horses.
I can’t afford to leave much – will it be of any use?
YES – whatever you can manage to set aside for the horses will save lives and stop suffering.
